For our bright and bendy team, yoga is a way of life, we’ve all integrated it within our daily rhythms and routines, and we think you should too. That’s obviously no surprise this being a yoga website and all! But lets recap why we think classes are worth attending…
Living in the age of the empowered distance learner its always tempting to hit the library or Amazon and borrow or buy a few books. This is actually a great idea to learn some of the theory behind yoga as well as the sanskrit names, but it may not be ideal for getting started with asana / yoga poses. Why do we say this? Well the yogic sequences, like all exercise can be very good for you, if your posture and technique are honed. But equally if you are out of alignment, which is easier to do when you first start out, over time this can cause injuries or lead to discomfort.
All of our teaching team have completed nationally recognised yoga qualifications, which include in their syllabuses the study of physiology. This means that whether being taught in person or online, you can be sure that you are in safe hands. All you have to do is relax and enjoy your yoga.
